Story Behind The Bottle: We were looking for a cool Independent bottler to do a high end pick from and Ryan Alves led us to Hartfield. Holy shit did we hit the jackpot with this and the 19 yr. Ultra aged barton and this one is hazmat. We went though 12-15 barrels that day and chose these. I’m madly in love with both but Sean prefers the 14 year. There are only 100 bottles of this one. Both were very short.

Tasting Notes: Clearly ultra aged barton on the nose. Loaded with Butterscotch and honey comb and sugar/cinammon. Palate is filled with that dark honeycomb, confectionary sugar and the finish hangs on forever with a homemade caramel. It drinks lower proof than it is and has me salivating after each drink. I prefer this 14 yr to our Buckners 13 yr picks so if you like those this ones for you.
