Big Easy Whiskey

The Whiskey: Big Easy Whiskey starts with 100 % American whiskey distilled in Kentucky and Indiana. Its traditional bourbon mash bill is 81% corn, 15 % rye, and 4 % barley. The whiskey ages for five years in used bourbon barrels for a softer taste, less influenced by the fresh wood of newer barrels. Big Easy Whiskey emerges as a rich, round, American whiskey that is infused with two dozen herbs, spices, and fruit chosen by Master Blender Kieran Walsh to accentuate the whiskey’s flavor, not compete against it. 

Tasting Notes: On the nose, the familiar toasty flavor of American whiskey gives way to comforting tones of baking spices with elements of vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Complex Amaro-like herbal notes of cedar and lemon balm linger on the palate.
