Log Still Distillery Purdue Foundation For Life Bourbon

Log Still Distillery offers the first series of bourbons and spirits to Purdue Alumni and friends everywhere. We purposely enclosed many "easter eggs" into our first bourbon for Purdue aficionados to discover. We wanted to commemorate John Purdue and his original vision for the great University he founded in 1869. This bourbon is a traditional high rye bourbon that would have been found during John Purdue's lifetime.
It is made in the traditional style of bourbon with rye as the flavoring grain. The flavoring grain is a German rye, a nod to John Purdue's childhood home. As history has attested, John made his mark on his generation and fellow Purdue alums that have followed. We trust that you will find this bourbon to be emblematic of his rich history and foresight in setting the stage for the next "Giant Leap".

TASTING NOTES: Gold & light in color, with a warm floral nose, a taste that's sweet, herbal, and bright, and leaves you with a smooth finish. This bourbon has a nice body and is moderately complex.
