The Whiskey Blendery - Miracle on 1911th Street

This is a short barrel of an 8 year and 10 month Double Barreled 95% Rye Whiskey using a Kelvin Cooperage toasted barrel then finished on Brazilian Amburana Oak for 3 days.

Nose: Sweet, round, and inviting with initial notes of cinnamon, vanilla, maple, and honey graham.  As things open up, snickerdoodle cookie, butter cream, mint, apple, and pie crust with whipped cream.

Palate: Honey crisp apples, citrus, baking spices and mint with oak initially. Honey, caramel, cookie dough, pumpernickel, lemon, and juicy fruit gum.  Maple, butter cream, and cinnamon as things settle further, leaving room the subtle sweet notes with less punch.  

Finish: Oak, citrus, apple, maple, Juicy Fruit and mint are most prominent, followed by caramel, buttercream, orange zest, and cinnamon. Medium long finish, textured, oily, & delightful .
