American Spirit by David Jennings

The story of Wild Turkey is in many ways the story of bourbon itself. From the struggles of nineteenth-century immigrants, to the triumphs of the longest-tenured master distiller in the world, a bold, uniquely American spirit emerges.

American Spirit: Wild Turkey Bourbon from Ripy to Russell is a tribute to the perseverance of two families, each perfecting their passion through extraordinary circumstances. It’s a testament to Jimmy Russell and his sixty-five years of unmatched dedication to quality. And much like a glass of fine bourbon, it’s a journey – a personal reflection on something carefully crafted over time. This book is a love letter to Wild Turkey that all bourbon enthusiasts can raise a glass to and enjoy.

Four Gate "Andalusia Key" Batch #9

Four Gate "Andalusia Key" Batch #9

$189.99

After releasing unfinished whiskeys for batches 7 and 8, Four Gate Whiskey Company went back to its roots, blending 3 different Kentucky Straight bourbons and aging them in dark rum casks from the Florida Keys and blending two Kentucky Straight bourbons and finishing them in Oloroso Sherry casks from the Andalusia region of Spain. The resulting whiskeys were then combined to create Andalusia Key.

Kings County Bottled in Bond

Kings County Bottled in Bond

$99.99

Kings County is among the very first craft distillers to release a style of whiskey that can be considered the highest class of American Whiskey. Bottled-in-Bond is a designation that refers to American whiskeys (and some brandies) that are distilled, aged, and bottled entirely at one distillery, from barrels filled in one season, by one distiller. Furthermore, the whiskey must be four years old and bottled at precisely 100 proof. In the old days, this was a way to protect the consumer from brands that were merely bottling up whiskey from other distilleries and blending or adulterating that whiskey. In an era when consumers still sometimes have a hard time knowing exactly where their whiskeys actually come from, bottled-in-bond best expresses the advantages we enjoy by making all our whiskey in-house from grain to bottle. Highly allocated but available everywhere.

Kings County Cask Strength

Kings County Cask Strength

$99.99

Clocking in at 116-128 proof depending on the batch, Kings County Barrel-Strength Bourbon is pulled from older barrels than our flagship bourbon, aged any where from two to almost five+ years. Many enthusiasts prefer whiskey straight from the barrel, which allows the drinker to add ice or water to taste. Smooth and bold, this is our most flavorful and intense whiskey. Wine and Spirits magazine awarded it Best Bourbon of 2015.

Our latest release of barrel strength bourbon has a 3 year age statement, but contains barrels as old as 5.7 years. This is intense, flavorful, versatile bourbon at 63.7% abv (128 proof). Notes of blackberry, fig, raisin, tobacco, brown sugar, toasted oak, and dried cherry on the nose, with ripe vine fruit, wild cherry, dark caramel, gingerbread, and a hint of cream soda on the palate. Never chill filtered, this is a richly textured, velvety whiskey for being such a high proof.

San Francisco World Spirits Competition: silver 2019, 2018, 2017, bronze 2016. ACSA Awards: Gold medal 2016, Best in Category Bourbon, silver 2019. ADI Craft Spirits Awards: bronze 2016, 2018.
