30th Anniversary original print commissioned by renowned Kentucky artist, Jim Cantrell, AND a chance to win the original - valued at $6,000!
How to win the original artwork matted and framed - valued at $6,000:
Our 30th Anniversary calls for a very special way to commemorate it. Bardstown's own Jim Cantrell was commissioned, to create the artwork for our commemorative print featuring a watercolor of two people sampling bourbon from barrels in a rickhouse.
Cantrell has been a fixture in The Bourbon Capital of the World for decades since he opened his Bardstown Art Gallery and Cantrell Studio in 1971. In 2017, Cantrell was commissioned by Churchill Downs as the first Kentucky artist to create artwork for the 143rd Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby posters.
Cantrell’s paintings can be seen in major public, private and now 16 museum collections around the country. His work has been represented by galleries in major cities including New York, Boston, Washington, D.C., Cincinnati, Louisville, St. Louis, New Orleans and Sante Fe.
One of his paintings was exhibited for three years in Riga, Latvia, as part of the Art in Embassies Program.
Each purchase will receive a Kentucky Bourbon Festival 30th Anniversary print produced on archival paper AND a chance to win the original artwork matted and framed - valued at $6,000.
